Is Tech N9ne the best hip-hop artist still alive today?

The only other I can think of that comes close to him on an all-around lyrical / flow / talent level is Tonedeff.

Try to tell me I'm wrong, I dare you.

Say somethin about Twista... he's still aiight, but he's gotten way too commercial and lost alot of lyrical edge.

Say somethin about Eminem... ::::yawn::::

I aint sayin theres not any other decent rappers makin albums right now... I listen to Redman, Method Man, Bone Thugs, The Roots, Xzibit, Ras Kass, Chino XL, Pharoahe Monch, Mos Def, etc etc etc

But I'm talkin all-around talent... Tech N9ne and Tonedeff are it... yeah they've made a few commercial songs, but they havent sold out their originality to try to go multi-platinum... the artists that have done that are the reason hip-hop sales have dropped off as much as they have over the past couple of years.

yes tech is the best rapper alive nobody can match his stuff he is the only rapper who can honestly say that they have lived there songs evfrything he raps about is true life experiences and that is what rap was originally all about not just "gang bangin" and pimpin b*tches and h@s.

your wrong..its time for you to start digging, tech nine is pretty fast, but only a few songs are real solid classics, check out necro and ill bill, apathy, celph titled, esoteric, old school ONYX, OC is the ****, oh and for the fast rap, WC takes the cake check out wc and the mad circle, he is fast and smooth, but still hard. ghetto boyz. you need to research . oh and canibus, jedi mind tricks, percee p is pretty fast, kool keith.

not changing up their style doesn't make them the best it makes them stupid! It's about growing and giving people what they want in that business. And if u can't at least do that then come up with some originality that someone would remember. I can't think of one good tech n9ne song with him alone now if u would have said yukmouth is the greatest west coast rapper than I would have to agree wit u.
