mainly because it was set up to be ruined. it was based on the same premise as pop, a music genre that disregarded any talent and just made music for a specific type of people. anybody can make rap or pop. the difference is that pop deals mainly to teenage girls, and rap deals with people who either cant handle rock, or think they're gangsters
