Do you think that hip hop is dead?myspace comments
Hip Hop is Not Dead..(Common, Nas, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Lupe, Kanye) all keep it alive...
Rap is Not Dead(The commercial mainstream music of Lil Wayne, Ludacris, 50 Cent, T.I., and more) keep it going....
Do you think that hip hop is dead?myspace codes myspace.com
I hope so....
I don't think that its dead but I think that its slowly beginning to fade away. I mean all the hot Artists right now (Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Timbaland, and many more) are just heading a different direction now.
not at all. its actually at its peak. on the hit radio stations all they play is r%26amp;b and hip-hop. thats all i gotta say. just flip through the stations. you'll here it
Compared to rap in the 80's- early 90's..yeah..Since NWA and Too Short started cursing in the wrong ways (F*** The Police; Freaky Tales; etc.) Its not fun like it use to be. =/

since ya like youtube so much =)
and yes i heard the original in 2000...
as for hip hop.. its got no bite and is over commerical. most of them don't talk about relivant things..
public enemy , nwa etc... even the sugar hill gang... t'good old days.. not these money hungry pretend merchants that are about these days.
how can they talk about ghetto? when they live in mansions..
"it's all about the money"
sadly at the expense of the music....
Yes! i want old skool hip hop back!
here's hoping. My poor ears are bleeding from the pure tripe that is being produced at the moment. Honestly don't think this is what grandmaster flash was looking for.
nope...it neva gonna be dead but if you listenin to that gwen stefani shi*, to bad 4 u, get into da underground shi*
Well sort of. Not really but the rappers of today aren't as good as the old skool. With a few exceptions. Like Common, Kanye West and Nas I'm sure there are more I just can't think of them at the moment.
